This is what happens when you get alot of people who all think they know best. Even the simplest things become complicated.
2009 Houston Fellow Debra Mabery spent her summer traveling through Panama, Nicaragua and Honduras to learn more about teaching foreign language learners. Her experiences have better prepared her for teaching ESL and engaging students and parents in the educational process. Most of all, the experience has led her to be an advocate for her students who are new to our classrooms and country.
